Staying Cyber Safe

WHEN BUYING OR SELLING ONLINE? PLEASE READ THIS. Scammers are becoming more sophisticated, especially with AI and when it comes to livestock and agricultural sales. Although it seems like a hassle, that's one reason BarnyardListing.com does NOT automatically publish submitted listings. Every listing is screened before it is approved and made publicly available. Why? Because we'd rather take a little extra time to review a listing than make it easy for someone to post a fraudulent ad and disappear with a buyer's money. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU VERIFY BEFORE GIVING OUT ANY INFORMATION OR MONEY! Even with a screening process, buyers should always do their own due diligence before sending money or making arrangements with a seller. Before you buy: • Ask questions about the animal, equipment or item. • Request current photos or video. Don't rely on AI created images. • Verify the seller's identity and location. • Whenever possible, see the animal or item in person. • Be cautious of unusually low prices. • Don't let a seller pressure you to "act now." • Be extremely careful with shipping and delivery arrangements. • Never send money through a payment method you aren't comfortable with or cannot recover. • If something doesn't feel right — STOP. IF YOU SEE SOMETHING SUSPICIOUS? Tell us. If you see a listing that looks misleading, uses questionable photos, contains suspicious information, or simply doesn't feel right, please report it to BarnyardListing.com. Our goal isn't to be just another classified site. We want BarnyardListing.com to be a safe place for the agricultural community to buy, sell and connect. That's why we screen listings. That's why we don't automatically publish every submission. And that's why we're paying attention. BUY SMART. SELL SMART. STAY ALERT. Visit BarnyardListing.com and find your next farm, ranch, livestock, equipment or agricultural connection. BarnyardListing.com is built for the people who work the land. #BarnyardListing #Livestock #FarmLife #RanchLife #LivestockForSale #FarmSafety #OnlineScams #BuySmart #SellSmart #Agriculture
